The University of Warwick Conservative Association is the official society on campus for anyone of a conservative persuasion. We organise socials and events throughout the year (see our Events page) that you are very welcome to attend. Our members hold a wide range of views on certain issues, ranging from One Nation to libertarian and including anywhere in between.
We look forward to you joining us soon!
We are registered with the Warwick SU as a society, so you can join us by clicking here and buying Standard Membership for £2 a year. Your membership fee allows you to stand for the exec, vote at the AGM, attend certain members-only events and receive updates, while it also supports the society's activities throughout the year.
Following a very successful year, our old exec said goodbye and following our AGM a new exec was voted in. Congratulations to the successful candidates and commiserations to those who were unsuccessful - there was a very strong field of candidates.
For more information on our new exec, see the Exec page.
Following a very successful term 1, we're looking forward to having a good term 2 and electing a new exec at the end of it. We've got events in nearly every week this term, so hope you can come along!
We've had David Davis, we've been to see Theresa May, and we've had some brilliant socials, and it's not even the end of first term yet. We've got some exciting stuff planned for term 2, but before then, join us for our end of term social on Tuesday 6th December (week 10) when we celebrate the end of term with a meal and pub crawl.
The Exec also voted 5-3 in favour of affiliation with Conservative Future, the national association of young Conservatives.
With the largest membership in a few years, we held several successful events at the start of the year with a good turnout at each one. We're looking forward to a good year - keep coming along! And look out for a big social towards the end of the term...
